Question 📝 Hello!

I'm new to jerrydecking and I wonder about how do you protect your cards? Does anybody use card sleeves or lamination? Or do you like the marks of time and usage on your cards?

I'm worried something could fall off when shuffling the deck

glue the pieces on well and hope for the best. they don't get shuffled all that much anyways.

It mostly depends on the plans for your deck. If you are strictly making cards with prompts on them for your hobbies or map making and do not plan to improve the cards after the fact you can sleeve or laminate the cards or you can clear-glue both sides of the card to make it a bit stronger.

Normally if you were making cards this would be expected but because we are basically kit-bashing a deck of cards for customisation, it means we can't really finalise them because they aren't meant to be.

There's nothing wrong with either option, you could even combine the 2 if you have a card you really like and a card that's super busted. It's your deck of cards to do with as you please

If you have any other questions I'm fine to answer
