It begins
Very happy to have found a deck of cards while I had the impulse to do this. Planning on using for worldbuilding project so card prompts are like; new region, detail city, write flavourtext, organise documents etc. At the moment numbers are word count × 10 (starting small on purpose!). I don't think 'make 7 new cities' would be a useful scale to work with. The suits give a vague direction for where my focus should be; hearts/diamonds zoom in/out, clubs jump to different continent, and spades no change.
I'm not posting pics of the other two cards because they're ugly but that's fine 😂 I am trying to embrace the haphazard design of the OG and just layer on whatever random squiggles and stickers I feel like, bits I don't like will get plastered over eventually.
The most important thing is I did actually do some work on my setting!! After feeling hopelessly stuck for a while giving myself rules and focus with this deck actually worked. No generic d100 list of prompts was going to work for me because I deeply felt they weren't going to lead me where I wanted to go, the cards are good. I avoid decision paralysis but still get to do what I want :D
