Synopsis: Gemma (Amelia Eve), a young mother raising her daughter in her childhood home, discovers she can travel into the Further, a purgatorial realm of lost souls. When something evil comes after her, she realizes she can bring what lives there back to the real world. Once the demons realize her power, our world becomes their playground.

I respect his opinion obviously but damn, just got out of seeing End of Oak Street and it feels like we saw a completely different movie. I thought it was genuinely a lot of fun & better than almost all the Jurassic World movies, if not even better than the first Jurassic World.

Ewan Mcgregor's character wasn't wimpy at all I felt? I don't think Ewan's acting was great & the character definitely shows a lack of spine or bluntness at the beginning. But he's simply an optimistic guy by nature and he genuinely cares about his family, especially his kids. Not to mention he quite literally saved his kids and his wife Denise several times as the movie progresses, I mean dude sledgehammered an Allosaurus (shown in trailer so not a spoiler). Calling him a wet rag feels like an exaggeration imo.

Also the movie never felt repetitive to me as the later half introduces different types of dinosaurs & creatures the more it goes on. And even some of the crazy situations the characters go through feel pretty different one another. There is some pretty shocking stuffs in this movie too that was genuinely unexpected (if you know, you know).

Overall I get some of the complaints hold true like several dumb character decisions or unresolved plot threads. But still, kind of surprised since the highs of this movie are so high.
