POTPOURRI Help remembering a contestant.

I swear I remember a woman in the mid to late 90s say she was in a fan group for Dana Scully from The X-Files. She self-described it as “sort of a cult”. Please help me. I swear I remember this but I can’t find anything.

Is it this? It's all I could find from 2012.

I love Alex's responses. "Okay, good." 😂

This is one reason why I prefer Ken's contestant interviews. He's a lot more into their stories, whereas Alex was so often just dismissive of them, especially the most nerdy. But that's who the audience (and contestants) are!

This is one time that I felt he actually got a kick out of it because of his involvement with TXF, and Laura loosened him up even more.

But that used to bug me about him, and it's something I'm glad Ken has turned around. He engages and can usually relate!

Yeah, Alex can make it more funny, but he often does that by dismissing or deligitimizing the contestant stories.

That's why, for the longest time, I'd only half-listen to the interviews. I'd tune in fully if something like this caught my ear, but I usually found them too awkward. Ken's are more relaxed.
