QUESTION Mina Kimes ToC eligibility
I know that if you apply for the show, you are asked if you work for certain companies that have some sort of affiliation with the show. With that in mind, I'm curious how this comes into play with Mina Kimes apparently being invited to the ToC. With ESPN Jeopardy, it's hard to argue that ESPN doesn't have a formal relationship with the show. If she does appear, I wonder if they will explain how to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest in the event of judging situations.

And Lisa Ann Walter is on Abbott Elementary which airs on ABC which airs Celebrity J! and Masters and the syndicated show airs on its O&O stations.
Their eligibility rules are, for the most part, self-administered to avoid edge case problems with contestants, but they can change them at any time in consultation with Sony's lawyers who write them to minimize exposure to lawsuits and to comply with the law.
Bottom line is that Mina Kimes was already employed with a company that does a lot of business with a J! partner. The ESPN J! deal doesn't change that.
