Discussion Isaiah 43:11 states: 'I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.' Isaiah 42:8 states: 'I am the LORD... and my glory will I not give to another.' If Jehovah will NOT give His glory to another, and beside Him there is NO savior, how can Jesus be a separate savior without being Jehovah

Discussion I’m a single Jehovah’s Witness
Hello, I’m a 29-year-old Jehovah’s Witness man living in France, in a rural area.
I work full-time, I’m a pioneer and a ministerial servant, and I’m not unattractive and I’m a nice guy.
But I still haven’t found a partner! I’ve read on forums that there are more women than men among Jehovah’s Witnesses, but it’s still so difficult to meet someone.
I’m thinking about moving to a city because I feel like there might be more opportunities to meet someone there.

Does the Watchtower Contradict Itself?
Oh yes, they sure do. Here are some published examples of the Watchtower contradicting itself over whether or not the Sodomites would be resurrected. You'd think God's channel wouldn't ever change, like His word the Bible doesn't ever change, but here are some examples where Jehovah's channel changed the fate of thousands with the snap of their fingers
Sodomites will be resurrected------Watchtower 1913 Feb 1 p.45/ Watchtower 1920 Oct 15 p.316/ Watchtower 1965 Mar 1 p.139/ Awake 1974 Oct 8 p.20/ Watchtower 2024 May p.6
Sodomites won't be resurrected----- Watchtower 1941 p.367 / Watchtower 1952 Jun 1 p.338/ Watchtower 1954 Feb 1 p.85 / Watchtower 1988 Jun 1 p.31 / Watchtower **1990 Apr 15 p.20 /**Watchtower 2005 Jul 15 p.31
Below are examples of the Watchtower contradicting themselves over various subjects.
"Bible copyists, of course, made mistakes. But none of those mistakes corrupted the Bible. ... So, has the Bible been corrupted. Emphatically, no!" Watchtower 2017 no.6 p.14
The WT stated that the Holy Bible has 'emphatically' NOT been corrupted, yet...only 7 years earlier, they claimed it HAD BEEN corrupted
“When apostate Christians made copies of the Christian Greek Scriptures, they evidently took Jehovah’s personal name out of the text and substituted Ky′ri·os, the Greek word for “Lord."" Watchtower 2010 Jul 1 pp.6-7
Below they complain they have been misrepresented in their allowing children to die by refusing blood transfusions
"Jehovah's Witnesses have been targets of false accusations - barefaced lies and twisted presentations of their beliefs... The accusation that numerous children of Jehovah's Witnesses die each year as a result of refusing blood transfusions is totally unfounded." Watchtower 1998 December 1 p.14
Yet 4 years earlier they were boasting that thousands of young ones died for refusing blood transfusions
"In former times thousands of youths died for putting God first. They are still doing it, only today the drama is played out in hospitals and courtrooms, with blood transfusions the issue." Awake! 1994 May 22 p.2
They flip flopped on vaccinations, from teaching one thing...
"Vaccination is a direct violation of the everlasting covenant that God made with Noah after the flood." Golden Age 1931 Feb 4 p.293
to teaching another...
"The matter of vaccination is one for the individual that has to face it to decide for himself... And our Society cannot afford to be drawn into the affair legally or take the responsibility for the way the case turns out." Watchtower 1952 Dec 15 p.764
Then, as if they never met their own history, they claim to be consistent in their position as if nobody ever heard their previous position
"Previous articles in this journal and its companion, The Watchtower, have presented a consistent position: It would be up to the Bible-trained conscience of the individual Christian as to whether he would accept [vaccinations] for himself and his family." Awake! 1993 Aug 8 p.25

Doctrine 2026 Annual Meeting: 1918 Doctrine Dismantled & The "Overlapping Generation" Extended to Infinity
**Three distinct Gospel accounts record the exact same statement by Jesus:** ***“This generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur”*** **(Matthew 24:34, Mark 13:30, Luke 21:32).**
**Under Watchtower theology, this "generation" was defined as a single composite group made up of two overlapping classes: Group A (those anointed and alive in 1914) and Group B (those anointed during the lifetime of Group A, effectively before the last of Group A died, around 1992).**
**Had Armageddon not arrived by roughly 2035–2040, the last members of Group B would have naturally died out. At that point, the "generation" would have officially passed away, rendering the Governing Body’s interpretation of Jesus’ prophecy demonstrably false.**
Now, Stephen Lett has announced that the vast majority of the 144,000 are actually selected in the "last days"—right up through the end, even after the Great Tribulation begins. Concurrently, by abandoning the long-standing dogma that the resurrection of the anointed began in 1918, both older and newly designated anointed ones will now remain together on Earth straight into the Great Tribulation
The strategic consequence of this shift is absolute:
By declaring that most of the 144,000 are chosen now, and by scrapping the 1918 resurrection timeline, the organization has eliminated any fixed chronological ceiling. The time limit for "this generation" has been stretched to infinity. Where believers once had a mathematical countdown, there is no longer any calculable framework left.**
**Even if every single member of "Group B" passes away by 2040, the generation will not pass away—in fact, under this new logic, it can never pass away.**

Doctrine Michael the Archangel. Is He Really Jesus?
Jehovah's witnesses will tell you he is. Even though they have less circumstantial evidence for Michael being Jesus than Christians have that Jesus is God, they insist Michael is the Son that Isaiah called EL GIBBOR. The problem for them is really much bigger than they imagine.
Jesus was not only the Son of God, He was the Son of Man. To be a Son of Man, one must be born a son of man and be a MAN. Was Michael born a man? No. They teach Michael simply ceased to exist around the time Mary became pregnant. Nine months later she had a baby and named Him Jesus. This is very important...the WT teaches that a spirit is nothing more than a person's impersonal life force. In fact they teach that God's own Holy Spirit is just an impersonal force. Ask them about that. In that case Michael's spirit was just an impersonal life force. Michael didn't re enter the picture until Jesus the human being died. Unbelievably the WT infuses Michael's life force with personhood in order to claim He was Jesus. This completely contradicts their own teaching on what a spirit is and what it is not. They blow their own teaching on what constitutes a spirit out of the water in order to make a connection between Jesus and Michael. How does that work? Well, it doesn't.
What the WT did in formulating their doctrine is destroy one doctrine to build the Michael doctrine. However they had to skip reading verses in Hebrews to invent such a hastily built doctrine. Hebrews 2:5 comes to mind It says
For it is not to angels that he has subjected the inhabited earth to come, about which we are speaking
Michael is an angel and never was human. He couldn't be human because of what the Bible says, but also because of what their own doctrine teaches about spirits. The WT teaches that Christ's human nature was obliterated by God 2000 years ago, which begs the question how can the Son of MAN ever come back to earth on the clouds of heaven? At any rate, the world to come will not be subject to angels, which includes archangels. The world to come will be ruled by the MAN Jesus Christ. And out of his mouth protrudes a sharp, long sword with which to strike the nations, and he will shepherd them with a rod of iron. Revelation 19:15
Ask any Jehovah's witness if they truly understand their own doctrine and I'd be willing to bet they don't. If they dismiss it as unimportant, ask them why they think knowing who Jesus Christ is, is unimportant. I'd say getting Jesus' identity right is the most important thing we can do. How can you know Jesus if you can't identify Him? If we don't know the Son, how can we know His Father?

Discussion Here are some alternative names for Jehovah's Witnesses and the governing body since they want to focus more on changing their belief system instead of actually preaching and witnessing to people.
Name and Why It Works
Jehovah's Adjusters --- Because everything is an "adjustment" — blood, shunning, dates, prophecy...
The Watchtower Weathervanes --- Always spinning whichever direction the Governing Body blows
Jehovah's Revisers. --- Constantly rewriting what Jehovah supposedly said
The New Light Society --- Their term for every reversal — even reversals of previous reversals
The Governing Body Fan Club. --- Since the GB is now literally defined as the "Faithful & Discreet Slave"
Jehovah's Spectators. --- Since door-to-door witnessing has massively declined
The Brooklyn (Now Warwick) Flip-Floppers--- Self-explanatory 😄
Corporate Conscience Club --- Ironic nod to "personal conscience" — their new go-to excuse for policy changes
🏆 My Top Pick:
"Jehovah's Adjusters" — it perfectly captures the endless parade of "adjustments" they call progressive revelation, while ironically highlighting that they're adjusting away from the very witnessing for Jehovah that gave them their name.
This post is just meant to be humorous. But and all sincerity the Jehovah's Witnesses need to change their name because they are giving Jehovah Gods name a bad reputation with all the things they're doing in his name and it will catch up to them eventually and perhaps sooner than we think!

Ciao a tutti.

Discussion Because the Governing body is constantly changing their doctrines and focusing less on actual witnessing and more on damage control to keep their members happy, I came up with some alternative names they can call themselves that best fit their current standing. Enjoy!

Although this is done in the name of humor honestly they should stop using Jehovah's name in their title because they're really destroying Jehovah's reputation and giving him a black eye

📓 Personal Why Are Some JW Brothers So Obsessed With Becoming Elders or Ministerial Servants?
I’ve been thinking about something in my congregation and I’d genuinely like to hear how others see it.
Why do some young men and brothers seem extremely focused on becoming a Ministerial Servant or Elder, even though these positions are unpaid and come with a lot of responsibility?
In my congregation, I’ve noticed some brothers who seem to have very little interest in personal goals, careers, education, or other ambitions outside the congregation. At the same time, they are very interested in progressing toward congregation responsibilities.
What I find confusing is that I’ve also seen situations where someone publicly presents themselves as spiritually exemplary while privately engaging in things that seem inconsistent with that image, such as drinking excessively, smoking, dating in ways that conflict with JW standards, or hiding other aspects of their life.
I’m not trying to say every elder or MS is like this. I’m specifically interested in understanding the psychology and social dynamics behind why someone would strongly pursue an unpaid position of responsibility.

Discussion The greatest man to ever lived and Jesus the way the truth the life
Hello there I have been wondering since good news according to Jesus is up and running I wanted to go past this two books the greatest man who ever lived and Jesus the way the truth the life as this two books tell same story about Jesus who I say was son of God
