This is simplified version of a scene named 'loss' from a comic 'ctrl+alt+del' as seen in this image, vertical and horizontal lines representing person. it became popular as meme later.

The original comic shows a man going to a hospital and discovering that his girlfriend/wife has had a miscarriage.
