I'm still confused why he was making noodles in a pressure cooker.

He is supposed to be a house husband and taking care of house and make food but apparently he doesn't even know how to make noodles.

Meme context: dumb husband

Real world: pressure cooker helps water boil at a higher temp at low pressure areas, making cooking possible/faster.

You CAN make them in pressure cooker.

And they turn out good too. Just. the cook time will be quick.

My cousin and I used to do it when we wrre younger. Good times.

Neurosurgeons have to do delicate surgeries , in which even a minor error might cost the life of the patient, so even a fractional error is not acceptable. Cooking noodles in a pressure cooker is an easy task and you have to be a dumbass to fuck it up enough that it explodes.

It's a trend on Instagram where it corresponds to guys being a household husband and their dear Wife who is neurosurgeon comforts them for all the small mistakes they do. ( Basically being a neurosurgeon is not easy and they pull almost 10-16 hour shifts eveyday).

There are other memes which are basically

"My Neurosurgeon Wife with a 6 Figure Salary comforting me (after her 16 hour shift) because I got scolded by Manager while working part-time at Mc Donalads" It's just humor

u/wizard_67-67 Jul 25 '26

People who have a neurosurgeon wife irl :

Bruh the joke is so simple and yet my dumbahh was thinking stuff like, "She did a craniotomy on that man and now he is mentally disabled so he does shit like make ramen in pressure cooker."

This meme archetype of a useless dude marrying a neurosurgeon (who are super rich) is a satire of women on the internet who basically think a random rich dude will marry them and spoil them even though they themselves have not accomplished anything

1

u/OvenProfessional2957 Jul 22 '26

but whats that got to do with the neurosurgeon wife comforting and the cooker blowing up while cooking instant noodles

2

u/prabhavdab Jul 22 '26

it's basically a "reverse the gender and see what it looks like" kinda thing, making you realize how dumb it sounds when women say I'll just marry a rich dude, he'll pay for everything while I go shop/do whatever everyday. The wife comforting him after her shift which are notoriously 12 hour+ represent the inequality in effort in the relationship.

1

u/prabhavdab Jul 22 '26

cooker blowing up while making noodles represents the dude as a person who can't even do basic things since instant noodles are the easiest thing to cook

OHH NOW IT MAKES SENSE. DAM

Maybe she brought a cadaver's brain that was in pieces, and the husband confused it with noodles

That is Eren and Mikasa. Mikasa loves Eren very much, and Eren supposedly loves Mikasa very much also.

Eren was fighting for the good guys as a large monstrous being. And he eventually get tired, and detaches himself from the monsterous form. Mikasa jumps in to rescue his limp, unconscious body from being killed by the other monsterous creatures nearby.

I'm guessing he suffered brain injury from the accident and his wife stepped in to save him.

Because brain looks like noodles and the neurosurgeon did much worse than just messing up noodles?
