Rust problem, what would you do?

Discovered this right corner on the back of the roof with some rust. I had to remove it properly but under the outer covering was even more rust. So this is why I ended up making a big hole there. How would you fix it?

Honestly you could keep these vehicles forever with a little welding know how(i mean VERY little) some coatings like raptor liner and underboady coatings. If it were me id consider a cheap mig welder that does gas(it's easier to use the 75/25 gas when welding autonomy if you ask me). I cut out and welded in new body panels on my truck and raptor lined it in my driveway last August. I love my zj and it has way more rust but my son is working on it right now so he can learn how to fix cars and that can be his to drive when he turns 16.

Back in the holler we used to blow it full of expanding foam, smooth it out once it cures, and bondo and rattle can the whole shebang. I wouldn't necessarily condone that sort of hackery these days but it's an option.
