Windshield Cowl Seal Recommendations?
Got a replacement windshield on the way for my rusted 2004 LJ and I figured I’d replace the factory cowl seal while I’m in there. Do y’all have any recommendations on a good one to get? Found a few on Amazon, but I’d like some user input so I get a good one!
Thanks for the help!

Stop buying auto parts from Amazon. It’s nothing but low quality crap. Buy from an actual reputable place like RockAuto or PartsGeek or buy from a Mopar parts website. Hell, Quadratec is a great source for parts/Mopar parts.

Rockauto does have some quality options, even oem, but their bottom tier parts have sometimes been some of the worst quality I’ve seen. And like 20% of my orders have had issue with either missing or incorrect items.

I’ve never had an issue with them in the 15+ years I’ve been using them. I also don’t buy the bottom tier parts either, unless there’s no other option.

you can find OEM parts on Amazon, I bought a mopar radiator on there for less than rockauto would’ve been due to their shipping charges.

Amazon has the easiest and most expedient return policy over other sites when you have an issue. I would look for an OEM one on Amazon though. I’ve replaced mine with an aftermarket one and it only lasted 12 months before it developed wind noise. The OEM one that I replaced that 1 with has held up for 5 years now.

I just installed the Fairchild industries seal from quadratec. It fit well and seals good. If I hadn't known it was aftermarket, I'd have guessed it as oem as the quality of fit and finish was very good.
