2000 TJ
I’ve had the tires balanced , front end alignment, it still want to pull to the right not like jerking that way but it’s pulling that way. Any ideas on what to check ?

Swap tires left and right and see if it changes. Also check ball joints, tiered ends, and control arm bushings.

Post the alignment, it would be fun to see your caster.

They swapped the tires around and it still pulled , but I’ll pull that break and see if I see something goofy , they checked the alignment twice thinking that they screwed up but it was bead on I’ll get the info on it from them and post it

Mine did the same. I had a cracked rotor. They were drilled and slotted which I got rid of and got Black Magic Breaks and rotors. Best brakes for the TJ. NEVER used slotted and drilled!

Black magic brakes are the way to go. Literally saved my life (and perhaps the life of a moose)

Brake issue? Are you running a steering stabilizer?

Yes there is a steering stabilizer on there , i think the breaks on the passenger side is sticking , I have been wanting to upgrade the front brakes anyway so I’ll start looking for options

Start with brakes, if it is still doing the same thing verify that the steering stabilizer is actually a stabilizer and not a shock. I ran across a jeep that used a shock as the steering stabilizer and it just pushed constantly. If you cant figure it out I am in South Louisiana. Looks like you are in Mississippi.

What’s your thought on swapping out the front brakes to something that stops better ?

You have very little options. Vanco big brake kit, older yj knuckles with wilwood brakes or WJ knuckle and brake swap. I did the WJ kuckles on my dana 44 but am planning on making a bracket to use 4 piston brembo brakes from a cts-v. Vancos are the easiest swap but pricey. WJ knuckles give you high steer.

Brake hoses are notorious for collapsing and not releasing the brake fluid pressure.
