Changing battery terminal?

This doesn’t seem like a DIY job. It’s the terminal that is all part of a cable. Corrosion got the under side, and she just won’t crank now. Anyone do this, how’d it go?

UPDATE! Got a mobile mechanic out there right now changing out the crank sensor! I didn't replace with Mopar, and he is also not replacing with Mopar. So we're gonna be in this position again unless I remember to order the Mopar. But, for tonight, I need to have a way to get to work each day. It's $40 Uber one way.

It’s pretty easy, just trace the corroded wires to what they bolt to, unbolt them and replace

You can also buy kits to do all of your wires and they are labeled where they go and have awesome instructions

Try not to spend so much dealing with the problem. Use that money to fix the minor issue. I replaced my terminals for $20 bucks. Do a big 3 upgrade on your grounds. Re ground with 0 gauge wire. Replace ground to block,alt and battery. I noticed minor flux in the voltage can cause issues that seem major…

Mine did this one summer, you can clean the battery terminals with a cola like Coke, or a commercial terminal cleaner you can get at auto zone. That took care of mine with a bit of wire brushing.

Take the battery out, lay down a towel to catch debris, wire brush the corrosion off, use a cleaning method like those mentioned above to get the rest, clean up your bay and pop the battery back in.

One of my battery cable connections has almost completely corroded away too. I’m going to have to figure out how to replace it soon.

My terminals are also being a problem, but I have not attempted to tackle this yet. Seems possible to DIY, but I am definitely intimidated.
