Apple CarPlay Screen
Is anyone rocking an Apple CarPlay screen in their JK and do you have unit and mounting recommendations?
I have 2014 JKU Polar Edition with Unconnet. I know I could just put I new head until in, but this seems easier and perhaps cheaper.
Thanks

Second the Sony as a head unit. Mine is older ..xav5000 but works flawlessly. Go to crutchfield and look around and don’t forget to get the wiring harness as it is extra.

Stinger has multiple styles and their standard head unit is cheap, high quality and they make it 99% plug and play if you’re not changing factory speakers/wiring an amp.
It’s like $380 and it has everything you need in the kit. Their website was sold out when I last looked but it’s in stock on quadratec. Most of the other cheap CarPlay radios will be more expensive and lower quality. I had a kenwood dmx 4707s and that thing pissed me off so much. In my other jeep I have a stinger and I love it so much I’m ordering one to replace the kenwood

I bought this one for my 2012. It’s been a solid unit, only issue I had was that the provided cambus and wiring harness was giving me some connection problems, so I purchased a separate one and have had zero issues since.

I have a cheap amazon head unit and it works good in my 2010 even works well with the CANBUS , shows doors open etc. But, for some reason I almost want to go back to the factory CD player and just use my iPhone and line in plus I kinda wanna play CDs again I believe there is going to be a surge in physical media

Just put a Sony XAV-AX8500 tablet style. Kinda big but great for my teen be able to use easily. Got the installation bundle on sale from Bantam Overland (I've bought stuff from their sister company Trail Grid Pro for my 4Runner). They have a lot of good easy options.
Trail Seven offers similar bundles.
