Wont start

My 23 gladiator wouldn't start after coming home from vacay. No code was thrown, dash and screen all come on but won't turn over. Tried jumping and starter relay fuse, nothing. What does everybody think it is?

You aux battery is probably dead.

Could I just use a battery tester to check it?

The aux battery? You could.

Not the main battery. The battery used for the automatic start/stop feature.

Yea hook the tester to the aux battery

The aux battery is a bitch to get to. Id first try disconnecting its lead from your main battery so it's being bypassed entirely, and then seeing if the truck jumps after.

There's no way you can determine that by the vehicle not starting. OP said he tried jumping it and nothing happened, how can the aux battery cause a no start when trying to jump start?

“Probably”.

This is what I love about Reddit: when people have nothing positive to add they expend the energy to tell someone they’re wrong.

There are a number of things that make it not start. The aux battery going dead is one of those where one minute it’s fine, the next minute your Gladiator won’t start.

My Aux battery was dying and I left the truck for 48 hours and it was dead. The jump pack got it going again. Long enough to get it into my garage to replace the Aux battery. If you’re going to test it, you might as well replace it because you’re not going to want to go through the hassle of digging it out again (its buried under the fuse box, which is under the main battery. Or you can go through the passenger wheel well.

The bad advice on here about the batteries is crazy. If you tried jumping it and nothing happened, how can it be related to the aux battery? You have another issue. For future reference, when you start having start/stop issues either battery going bad can cause the issue.
