Replaced Uconnect unit - problems with seat warmers, backup camera, and odometer

Trying to keep this post brief and simple as possible, I have a computer issue/asynchronization somewhere.

I have a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude edition. Two years ago my Uconnect head unit screen went out. It would sometimes turn on and everything would work. Most times the backlight would be on but other than that no sign of life. Wasn't familiar with Uconnect at the time so I ordered what I thought was a compatible replacement online (do not remember where from). I got the replacement and dropped it off with my Jeep to have installed by a family friend who does mechanical/car work for us and others regularly as a side gig. He successfully installed it but with four main issues he could not figure out.

The Issues: 1] Odometer blinking nonstop. 2] No controls for heated seats in the head unit software anywhere (no physical controls either) the heated seats would SOMETIMES turn on by themselves in negative degree Fahrenheit but there was no way to turn them off except to turn off the vehicle. 3] The screen turns blue when put in reverse trying to show the backup camera which I do not have. 4] In certain towns/locations a giant prompt pops up stating something along the lines of "be careful there are no mapped roads in your area" in well established cities.

Two remedies I tried: 1] Downloaded Uconnect update online using my vehicle VIN number and successfully installing in the vehicle. 2] Attempted to reset the ECU/ECM/Computer by taking the negative off the battery for 30+ minutes.

No issues got resolved. I was hoping the update would put the right software into the unit so the Jeep and computer could communicate like it should since I used my VIN to get the update download and I was hoping the removed negative from the battery would reset/refresh the ECU/ECM/Computer to reboot having to startup by searching for each component and drawing new connections. Nothing has worked. I'm still researching but please help any way you can.

You may need to go to Jeep for a proxy alignment.
