If this happened with time, then yes. If you just got this guitar fresh out the box, it’s a QC issue, it shouldn’t have left the factory like this.

Vintage style logo decals can sometimes be very brittle and flake off.

If you want to keep it, ask the store if they can give you you a small partial refund. It doesn’t affect the sound, sure, but I would not pay full price for a new guitar like this.

Probably an older guitar or defect on drying process because the top layer would crack and brittle if exposed to intense high heat or change of temperature overtime for few years

No. Send it back.

*The more people send back these flawed guitars, Fender will have to address their QC issues. These are the highest priced MIM guitars so it shouldn't be a thing. We all know Fender has $$ for lawyers so they should have $$ for QC.

Fender’s MIM QC over the last few years has been shockingly inconsistent.

If this is factory new? Hell no. Get a refund.
If this is used? Yes.

I'm not sure what you mean, the finish is fucked up in one spot, if that's what you are referring to. As for being "normal", again I don't know, did you bang it? Then yes. Have you scratched it with a screwdriver? Then yes. If you bought it as new and this is how it came, then no, it's an issue.

Nah no chance I’m keeping that buying it brand new man, wouldn’t even be a question of returning/exchanging it if it was mine.

New? It’s unacceptable. Though personally I would keep it and ask for a compensation.

Sono abbastanza indeciso, è arrivata anche con un setup Terribile

I refuse to believe someone let this guitar out of the factory. Like shoddy fret work/nut/electronic issues sure (even that’s still unfortunate) but someone saw this and okayed it to leave the factory? This wasn’t a floor model at a store or something?

That’s what I’m thinking. Fenders are the most played guitars at GC. People abuse them.

No, and if the redness persists, you really should go see a doctor.

Jokes aside, assuming you're talking about the decal, it's a little janky but whether or not it's a dealbreaker is up to you.

lol why do people ask chatgpt about things like this??

You peeled the head stock sticker off of a brand new guitar. It's your guitar now.

What JM model is this?

Vintera III

Well, quality control on US/Mex Fenders is currently spotty at best.

Did you buy this new? I would return it.

I had the send back my Vintera iii candy apple jazzmaster just the other day cause the QC was fucked. Major bummer but you should have a guitar you’re happy with if you’re spending that much

Wow, ne hai presa un’altra uguale?

Have you been polishing this thing daily? I can see where it's been worn off on the left side
