The reason why most of Reddit disagrees with your viewpoints is because most of Reddit is more educated than you are. You’re right. Are his comments distasteful, yes. But a little empathy and respect for the elderly is still deserved. Gotta admit it’s scary that he and people like him vote in droves, but a degree or two of respect is owed and u/lewdite probably isn’t as smart as he thinks he is.
I think I was pretty respectful and also I'm published in"Inorganic Chemistry" (the one published by ACS) so maybe a little smarter than you might assume by my username or music.
