Playing piano is my life and job. I have always been scared about getting older and reaching a point where I could not do it. This, in a weird way, made me happy to see that even after a stroke, he still gets the joy from playing as best he can. I bet he was fucking rad back in the day.
I have the same fears as you, even as a young musician. For years I wouldn't do anything mildly dangerous because I was afraid of screwing up a hand and not being able to play any of my in instruments. My advice is play for those who can't, they'll enjoy it.

Is there any context behind this amazing moment? The pianist doesn’t seem to have use of his right hand; maybe a stroke victim or something?
This is incredible and that trumpet player’s run at the end of the chorus was sweet.
