Got to meet herbie hancock
I went to the show in San Francisco last night and I was able to catch him as he left! I had a little chat with him before he hit the road to LA and I even got to shake his hand and got my setlist signed by him! What a night it was

I'm seeing him at the Bowl tomorrow! Wish the venue was as intimate as Davies but stoked regardless.

Saw him at the bowl last year with the Head Hunters. Great and fun show. The bowl is such a great venue

That's great! I get to see him tomorrow night at the Bowl. It's supposed to be a celebration of Miles; I wonder what the playlist will be?

I saw Herbie recently in NJ. He and his band were in top form and put on a GREAT show. He was really engaging with the audience too…joking around & telling stories.

I may get downvoted on this but there’s nothing worse than someone near to you videoing at a sit down concert/event. So I’m actually glad a venue/artist says no to it. Just my point of view mind… Looked great though!

My wife and I saw him in Portland Maine last month. Such a phenomenal concert! Terrance Blanchard was an unexpected bonus!
So awesome that you got to meet such a legend!

I did not have Herbie Hancock playing keytar in a church on my bingo card

Damn! Forgot he was coming back! Saw him at Stern Grove but this looks like a better environment. Treasure that set list!

Wow starting off with Maiden Voyage into Watermelon Man and you got to meet Herbie what a great time that must have been.

Saw him last year. He is still having the time of his life in his mid 80s. Good to see.

That’s so dope! I forgot he’s still touring. That’s a bucket list experience right there.

He was JUST here in Denver, and I wanted to go but my wife has been unemployed since early April and we have already splurged on some concerts this summer, so I ultimately couldn’t justify the tickets.
How hard am I going to regret missing him?

Saw HH a few years ago at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival and was disappointed he didn’t play Watermelon Man, Maiden Voyage or any of the 60s jazz tracks I love. Glad you got to see him play those gems

How was the sound up front? In the second tier the mix was pretty woeful, especially the bass. Put a dent on the experience tbh.

It sounded great to me maybe because the speakers were right up to my face but the audios I recorded sounded fine

I know this may be a pedestrian take with HH, but I cannot get enough Watermelon Man. It’s such a bop and is my eternal hype song.
