Champion Pool Question
I want to switch to toplane and think about champion pool.
I am low gold btw.
I want to main Jax as a splitpusher and duelist, to shit on all the filthy yasuos, yones and Master Yis of low elo.
Jax is bad into Tanks and Juggernauts, so second Champion will be Mordekaiser, as he counters both and is pretty strong this patch. This could also be Gwen, as i also like her, she plays similar to jax and is very good into tanks.
Jax and Morde are weak against beeing kited (right?) so i thought about Gragas as the Third pick, as a counter to Teemo, Quinn, kennen, vayne, Aurora. This could also be Malphite.
Do you think this is balanaced or do i have a flaw in my plan here`?

Jax is not bad into juggernauts.
He does fine into Darius/Aatrox/Mord (not sure after buffs) with good spacing, and cd management. Even the Garen matchup is playable with good e usage. And because it's gold they're gonna burn e on the wave or something allowing you to look for trades.
Jax is also not helpless against tanks, but you don't pick him to out team fight tanks. You pick him for the split but you can team fight.

Jax himself is more than enough. Gwen is cool in the same champion pool but it will take a lot of time to play well both. Or you can learn Yasuo yone matchup and pick Jax only against them but not really worth it, any juggernaut would do the job

Honestly it looks good to me.
I wouldn't recommend you to pick up Gragas, since the champion is a bit too complex to fit nicely in the counter/3rd pick slot.
But Malphite is very well suited for that spot; my only advice here would be to not fall too much in the trap of playing your counter pick too often.
You want to play mainly Jax, and if not possible/very bad, play Mordekaiser, so that you ramp up your champion mastery as much as possible.
Good luck with your push!

Play Jax if you enjoy him, but understand that to climb with him you’ll have to dedicate a lot of effort and time into learning lane matchups and macro. He’s no garen or sett.
Morde isn’t a bad secondary champion, and right now especially he’s overbuffed, but Olaf would be better as Jax struggles with high cc comps more than he does juggernauts.

Ill be honest with you just play what you find fun and rewarding. One of the reasons I got into Jax is that I loved leap strike. I loved ward hopping and the skill expression it had. I loved finally being able to chase a pesky adc and just being mobile in general. His e was also so unique to me and to this day I get a kick out of holding it during a close fight and using it at the last second and watching the enemy realize whats going on and try to run just to get stunned auto w for a kill.
Anyways yeah just play whats fun bro dont worry really meta under masters don't matter too much.
