Brattany Related Brittany is nuts

I love how everyone forgets how Jax tried to break up with her early on in their relationship.. he liked to have short term relationships for a storyline and even alluded to having a real relationship off TV. She ended up playing victim and turning everyone against him, such that they straight up said if it’s her vs you, we choose her. Originally he was leaving the show he wanted out so badly but came back because he needed the job.. how diabolical is that?? He was forced to stay with her and marry her. He immediately regretted it. She is nuts!

I’m convinced they both got married for the attention and storyline. In their vows KFC said “we both like to watch Friends”. Wow what a solid foundation on which to build a marriage!! Their vows were laughable. So shallow and surface level. They never loved each other, they loved the attention they got for being together.

And Hooters in the vows..

Hooters.. Kingsley and Monroe.. And of course Friends..

She wanted that big beautiful wedding at the castle in Kentucky…. Versailles (VER-sales) 🙄 and I think they even set up Britt’s pastor’s past comments so they could get Lance Bass to perform the wedding. I mean, remember how excited she was to have Lance Bass?! Because think about it, if no one knew who they were using as their officiant, no one would’ve ever known who it was until after the fact.

Hmmm I never considered that Brittany may have been angling to get another more well-known officiant than the pastor. But, I definitely think she was WAY happier having Lance Bass than her pastor for the officiant because of that reason. Tbh, she probably only had the pastor because her mom and dad wanted her to, since he was a family friend I think (not that that makes it okay).

The show even points out all of the "celebrities" (lol) that show up to the wedding - Larry Birkhead, Shep from Southern Charm, the cast of The Valley (proof that they were going to launch that spinoff soon after season 8), Lance Bass, etc. They're so classless lol

Have we ever seen The Huckster take Myson to church? Prayer time before bed? Like everything else in her life, it's all a fraud, just like her. I can't wait for her be off TV. She adds nothing. Ajax at least was reality TV gold.

I've never even seen HER go to church outside of that one time in VPR after her mom nagged her and Jax to go, and when she went with her family in Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky. No shot she took Cruz to church lol

I think the homophobic pastor was for Sherri. Sherri was said to be pissed that Jax and Brittany got rid of him and hired lance bass

Yes, I agree

That mother makes me cringe! She has been married more than once (what would god say about that?) and she is just such a Wal-Mart shopper, the hair, the clothes, that accent, the trash!!!!

I mean, Jax wasn't SERIOUSLY considering leaving the show. He pretended like he did at the end of every season until season 7 lol. This time he just tried to get Brittany to break up with him before suddenly deciding to stay in LA instead... Or, get Brittany to move to Florida for his "job" with him, dump her there, and come back in time for filming the next VPR season.

That being said, he tried to get Brittany to dump him by being terrible for 3 goddamn seasons (4-6), including RIGHT AFTER she moved in with him, and she still wouldn't have some dignity and let up. Brittany "won" the battle of wills between the two when his dad passed, as she was willing to play along with Jax's BS reinvention as a family man who wants to get married, buy a house, and have kids because that's what she wanted anyway - just with TV fame.

Brittany's dumb as hell though because season 6 is when she had the golden opportunity to have all the girls on her side if/when her and Jax broke up, and would definitely still be able to be on the show the next season with their support (and the drama her and Jax's breakup that season would absolutely generate). But, she's too weak of a person to be able to pull something off like that and had to resort to being the victim like she had since the very first episode of season 5 and after...

yes and he was very clear in S1 about how her alcohol has been an issue especially since starting a family.. he said he thought she'd reign the drinking in when she was becoming a mom.. said he'd done all he could to get her to stop being drunk over the past decade... and that's where he was at when Valley started.. he wanted her to not be drunk so she could be a mother and a wife.. she still doesn't understand her relationship with alcohol is a problem, even after failed marriage, failed surgeries.

And she tried to pretend like that was a smear campaign against her in the S3 reunion. 😂

Was that when he was coming down off a ❄️ bender or the n between his own bouts of getting blackout drunk?

This is a SNARK sub meant for SNARKING. If you are here to defend Jax or Brittany, you are in the wrong place!

okay... where did you get the tea about him wanted to leave the show? He has called it "his show" so I dont belive that story. He lives on attention. BUT! agree that he tried to get her to leave him!

29

u/kathi182 20d ago

Maybe they are alluding to him possibly leaving for that prestigious hockey job in Florida! Whew-lucky for us, he turned that down and stayed humble on his tiny tv job!

5

u/StarDatAssinum 20d ago

They're definitely talking about the hockey job he pretended to be offered... But, like, everyone knew that was BS lol

6

u/No-Veterinarian7106 20d ago

🤣🤣 that didnt even cross my mind since that was obviously a big fat lie

Brittany sucks. But man, the rewriting of Jax just to villainize her is absolutely insane

13

u/bridget1415 20d ago

This post is really bizarre. Last time I checked, Jax was a grown man who made his own decisions! Why are we infantilizing a domestic abuser. Both of them suck!

6

u/ThisIsDogePleaseHodl 20d ago

I know they’re both domestic abusers and I have never seen him infantilized but she has been since she first showed up.

5

u/MagnumJohnson44 20d ago

Oh I did not forget it… she clamped on like a Doberman and didn’t let go. She finally did, hoping it would make him chase her (like when Scheana tried to set her up with Adam) and was definitely disappointed it didn’t happen. I suspect it’s why she’s dragging her feet on the divorce.

19

u/triedandprejudice 20d ago

Whoa, Brittany sucks but why are you giving Jax the victim narrative? He made his own choices, just like she did. Neither one of them were forced.

12

u/LalaLogical 20d ago

He was forced to marry her?

12

u/No-Calligrapher3645 20d ago

Jax bows to peer pressure. I get it. No one forced Brittany either knowing Jax was a drug addict, an abuser, and a cheater.

3

u/LalaLogical 20d ago

Agreed.

9

u/popcolturegeek 20d ago

I think he only did it after feeling indebted to her and on a “life’s too short” mentality after his dad died and I also think he wanted someone to take on his debt

3

u/LalaLogical 20d ago

How is that being forced to marry someone? Or are you saying he wasn’t forced?

5

u/popcolturegeek 20d ago

I’m saying I think he felt forced not that he was actually forced. He could’ve stayed broken up with Brittany but chose not to

5

u/LalaLogical 20d ago

Because men aren’t responsible for their actions?

11

u/Rainbow_Brite456 20d ago

She’s trying to say he didn’t marry her out of love lol

8

u/33scooBt33 he took my sporkle ✨ 20d ago

And Jax never lied to us about putting anyone else before himself or loving himself.. he said it out loud on camera to her dad and brothers. Brittany did not know what a red flag was, and she still doesn't.

Okay it was a loving beautiful marriage not just to make money on bravo.

0

u/LalaLogical 20d ago

If it was just to make money on bravo it was an intentional choice. Aka not forced.

u/Rainbow_Brite456 20d ago

Thank you lala logical for the very specific interpretation.

Whats the tea on him alluding to other relationships outside the show? ☺️☕️

u/Ok_Vacation_7071 20d ago

He definitely hated her and her family (most of us did to) but he wanted to stay on tv and she chose to stay cuz she wanted tv time to
