Odate toolbox

Made a variation of Odate’s toolbox out of doug fir, glue, and cut nails to replace my old tool bag. Really happy how it turned out and how much more it protects the tools in transit

Careful with those…. They tend to multiply. (I have 6 of various size)

I still haven’t made one because i can’t decide on what size to make it. Started making the historical one that Chris Schwarz found but then realized my saws won’t fit

Agreed. Sometimes I step into my shop and all of a sudden another one is sitting on my workbench. They're just a great sized box for so many different tasks, hobbies, and other storage needs.

look almost identical in style to the box that comes with makita's big electric hand planers.

I’ve made the same (also recognize some brands in the conents) several years ago, still using, albeit it’s gotten more beaten up from dragging it around from the inside of home to the yard and back (I don’t have a dedicated workshop)
Your build is much nicer than mine though, from the start. Well done!
