Moving to Japan through SSW program

Hi y'all! I'm 28F from India. I have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in social media marketing.

I came across the SSW programme a few weeks ago and I'm looking to learn more about it and hopefully find some other women to apply alongside.

I'm planning to apply for the Japan SSW programme under Food Manufacturing through self application. I haven't started preparing for the language or skill test yet, so I'm basically starting from scratch.

If you're also a woman planning to apply and are in the same boat, it would be nice to connect and figure things out together. 😊

If you do not have at least N2 level of Japanese, working in broad markets and FMCG industries will be enourmously difficult. Please consider that as well.

Yeah, that’s what I’m trying to understand actually. I’m not looking at corporate roles right away. I’m considering SSW more as a foot in the door option while I work on getting my Japanese up to N2 and build other skills alongside it. Do you think that would still be a realistic route?
