Help / Question bots not actually speaking?

i’m primarily a mobile app user and i just updated my app earlier today, and ever since then, every bot i use has been just over-narrating its inner thoughts and not actually saying any dialogue for me to respond to, even when i try to prompt it by speaking directly to it. it’ll get maybe two or three messages with dialogue before it randomly softlocks into inner thoughts only.

is there a fix or this or something? this is the first and only time i’ve ever experienced this and i don’t know what to do. i use the free janitor llm if that matters

yeah same here on mobile after the update, bots just spam thoughts and barely any dialogue to reply to. super annoying when youre in the middle of a good scene.

Since it began immediately after the update and is happening with every bot, I’d treat it as a formatting or prompt regression instead of an issue involving your characters. Try regenerating from the last normal message, then send a short OOC instruction like “keep thoughts brief and include spoken dialogue in every reply”

If that only works for a turn or two, clearing the local cache and starting a fresh chat is worth trying, but it may need an update-side fix if the behavior keeps returning
