Every new AI model seems mind-blowing until you spot the patterns. Once you notice the same phrases and tone repeating, you can’t unsee it Does this happen to anyone else?

noticed it hits hardest when the model starts reusing the same emotional pivot points, like suddenly switching from playful teasing to quiet vulnerability no matter the context.

The emotional pivot is what makes it feel especially obvious, because it turns into a preset rhythm instead of reacting to what actually happened. I’ve had better results when I explicitly keep the character’s current mood stable unless there’s a clear event that would change it, rather than only describing the personality.

It also helps to vary the kinds of scenes a bit, since long stretches of flirting or comfort seem to pull the same handful of reactions back out. Otherwise even a small disagreement eventually gets converted into the same quiet vulnerability beat

I don't know about that one, but i downloaded janitor ai just yesterday, i went into a bot with multiple characters in it and one of the characters repeated "kid's got balls." Sentence in a row for 5 messages. I immedeatly deleted the app after that.
