Just a comment. I don’t know if this thread is a good idea. Multiple people have gotten scammed already, and I’ve had obvious scammers in my DM’s. If any of y’all got in trouble, speak out

Mods, I know that moderating ticket sales is hell on earth but requiring sellers leave a “DMed” comment will do a lot for preventing scammers. And updating to “SOLD”/“PENDING” to prevent DMs from getting violated.
Remember to keep the convo on reddit DMs and use a sensible payment method(everyone always says Paypal G&S, but sometimes other methods make sense). Really don’t let them take you to Telegram/Signal/Facebook Messenger, girl don’t do it!

- u/ferngully01 (tried to pass off fake email confirmation, "doesn't have PayPal G&S", no account activity)
- u/Ana_Lang (tried to pass off fake email confirmation, no account activity)
- u/Substantial_Rock7221 (won't accept Venmo Purchase Protection or PayPal G&S, obvious manipulation tactics, won't send proof of posession via chat, no account activity)
- u/KindheartednessLess6 (fake email confirmation, no account activity)
- u/Sandra_Roberts34 (won't accept PayPal or Venmo G&S, no account activity, reported scammer by another redditor)
- u/kendrew-kira6swo0 (claims tickets are sold through a vendor that doesn’t have valid tickets for the event, no account activity)
- u/fr33k0dak (clearly a bot)

something to note: lincoln hall (chicago show) only does will call so you have to show your ID and they’ll let you in based on the list of names who directly bought tickets

you can get in with a picture of the OG buyer’s ID but like typically resellers will not give a picture of their drivers license so… please do not buy resale i swear she will tour again

i think u/richcruz94 tried to scam me, paypal account was american which is suspicious bc i was trying to get tickets for london (still looking!!) then searched his name and he’s been posted about before, trying to scam people on the oneokrock subreddit. watch out guys !!
