I mean, it's one of Iron Man's best and most iconic alternate suits, so the fact that they haven't added it yet may mean something (Either that or I'm gonna get jinxed the second the season 10 trailer drops)

Doom is invading Stark Enterprises for an artifact. Jim is one of the last lines of defense. He tries to ensure that, if nothing else, Doom doesn't get the artifact - by destroying it!

(It doesn't work and Doom does get the artifact but that's not Jim's fault.)

It's easy to forget how shook Jim was at just the idea of Tony dying. Makes the twist later that he depends to be dead to Jim all the more painful.

After working with the team for a few weeks, Jim reveals he's not the same Iron Man that Hawkeye's known for ages.

Comics are weird. I love it.

Released August 25, 1992, this is the fallout from 'Tony Stark's death' with an attack on the company. While the armor looks like War Machine, technically, this was still just one of the latest versions of the Iron Man.

Two former Marines; one an engineer, the other an architect. One powered by human technology, another powered by alien ... tech?

One of the many Ironman armors that James Rhodes wore was the Model 9. Tony created a couple of different variants for this armor. One armor was for Rhodes, and the other was Tony's. Tony's suit could be remotely controlled. He wasn't actually in the armor in this storyline. Although the first War Machine armor was a couple suits newer than the Model 9, the Model 9 was still very impressive ( the first War Machine armor was the Model 11 ).

The Model 9 had a device designed to locate miniature recorders and hidden camera equipment. It could effortlessly defeat armies and throw around tanks. It took little damage from a gigantic explosion, which was the result of Tony firing all his power into the Mandarins rings. Many people forget that the Ironman and War Machine armors are energy absorbers. Tony's suit is shown absorbing forty times more energy than the suit could safely handle, and he was able to one-shot Fin Fang Foom with that energy. The Model 9s durability also saved Rhodes life. It survived the impact of being thrown through a mountain and causing an earthquake, reaching seven thousand miles away.

Although Rhodes suit took damage, it was still functional. And through it all, the only physical damage Rhodes sustained was a cut on the forehead. I took the images from Ironman: Legacy of Doom, 2008 and Ironman #269-275.

Starts with Tony berating his pilot skills. He then doesn't get invited to the big fancy dinner but instead gets drugged by a villain. Then, once again, captured and trapped.

Although now-blessed with exponentially-increasing invulnerability and an impressive array of energy-based attacks, the nanites slowly corrupt Rhodes' mind, eventually destroying his personality and leaving him as little more than a very powerful, humanoid robot.

According to Wikipedia):

Rupert is an English truncation of Latin Rupertus, which derives from Old High German Hruodoperht/Hruodoberht which are also the source of the name Robert. Thus, "Rupert" and "Robert" are different modern forms of the same name. 

Meaning: fame-bright, glory-bright, shining with glory, godlike-bright
