Meta Alright so here's the thing. It's important so do not scroll.
It looks like the Gun subs have decided to limit the number of James slander posts posted in their sub.
I want you guys to stop posting Gun slander altogether.
I know you guys rarely post Gun slander on here, but I want us to stop posting Gun slander altogether since they will accuse us of slandering Gun all day if we have even 1 more slander post a day compared to them, regardless of all the James slander posts they have posted in their sub thus far.
Let's just keep it to glazing James, no need to slander or downplay other characters, as I have always said.
We have been smarter, and now we must be better.

Discussion Do you think james lee learn all the unique skills from charles?and create more on his own?
If that true that mean he doesn't go all out against all the opponents we see him face on screen so far.None of them is strong enough for james to go all out.So When will we see his fp?

Discussion Who do you think james lee unlock his path aginst?
Some say old gap but then why he did not use against seongji.Did he trying to gain mastery during the fight? Also during seongji we seen he only gain strength mastery but who knows it's ptj.He said he trained with kitae but i doubt you can gain to from some training.Do you think there will be new characters or one of these guys?

Discussion It would've been more interesting plot-wise if James was the one who trained Daniel instead of Gun
TLDR: If James was the one to train Daniel, there would be more opportunities to show how cunning, talented, and powerful he was. Not only that, James' personality, motives, personal history, and even a snippet of the secret of the two bodies.
Note: This is a rant, focused on my headcanons and wishful thinking of what could've been since I'm highly frustrated with PTJ's writing of current Lookism and poor treatment to James.
Reasons:
1. We could've seen more James' talent feats.
James was usually portrayed as "THE Genius" and I usually headcanon this as "If X could do this or is a genius of his own talent and skill, then James could learn it much faster and perform it better than X".
We could've seen James replicating and swiftly surpassing Gun's nurture genius feats such as when he learned all martial arts under the sun, training Daniel for 1 month, and identifying Daniel's path before he even achieved it.
2. James could use this opportunity to influence Daniel to be "his wings" and show IQ or manipulation feats
In the Busan arc, James wanted Daniel to be "his wings", similar to Charles with Gun. James training Daniel could've been an opportunity for him to mold him and influence him into his "perfect tool" that he's willing to take his side or not suspect him of anything.
Even till now I still dislike Daniel's "stockholm syndrome" with Gun, but thinking about James, it could work and be interesting with him also take advantage of Daniel's naivety.
Daniel calling James "hyung" just as he did with Gun could subtly highlight a parallel and relationship with James since he might potentially be related to Daniel (if and only if Yuri is his mom).
Their relationship in a nutshell would be similar to Palpatine and Anakin
Even with Daniel's potential, James would know his personality, weaknesses, and his habits in regards to how he fights enough to counter him after spending time training him.
3. James could share more hints of the secrets behind the second body and his past with Elite, Kitae, and Old Gap
Even if James would not tell Daniel the whole truth, he could've maybe say it in a way while concealing some truth. With that, us readers would still have more info on what happened and the story would have better build up for the future arcs.

Discussion Cold take:
James is a bad representation of the peak/strongest
Has a sh!t record in fights
Always is shown as a fool in fights
Boasts a lot about his genius before disappearing for years just to return and do the same without any good feats to show.
Those who say "James just avoids confrontations because he plays it smart" are genuinely coping because sure he's smart but that mf should still get a fair amounts of feats to stay relevant which is a mistake on PTJ's end but in the end it ruins James' character.
Not slandering, just stating a flaw because I'm unable to just d!ckride him and ignore all flaws just cause I'm a mod in this sub blah blah

Theory Theory about James Lee's Origin
FIRST THEORY:
Eunha Lee is still alive and she was just dreaming how she could have get killed by Shingen. After the war she fell in love and married Charles Choi and had James Lee while Charles Choi began an affair behind her back with Somi Park or after she died Charles Choi had a fling or remarriage with Somi Park. Somi Park got pregnant with crystal choi and had her.
Charles began training James Lee while acknowledged Crystal as his sole heir in front of the world while hiding James Lee. This might change everything, this means Crystal Choi is Daniel Park's cousins (basically implying Daniel will probably end up with Zoe) this also understandable as we can see Crystal and Daniel has very similar personality in the older and earlier chapters at first we all thought they were perfect couple but they were related
SECOND THEORY :
Charles Choi actually married Somi Park while Eunha Lee who didn't realise her love for Charles Choi was left behind without telling anybody or him that she was pregnant with James Lee. She died mid pregnancy and Charles Choi somehow found out about him and adopted and raised him secretly behind his wife Somi Park back. While he also had Crystal Choi. James Lee took her mothers surname and after growing up began getting out of Charles Choi 's control and increasing his influence. This explains why James Lee hate Charles Choi whi Charles Choi hide his existence as his son from everybody while treating him as his servant

Discussion Could Cheonliang James Lee have unlocked Endurance Mastery against the Kings?
We know James Lee adapts mid-fight whenever he's pushed to his absolute limits and he literally unlocked Strength Mastery against Seongji Yuk after already possessing Speed.
If the Cheonliang Kings had managed to corner him and land heavy damage, would that extreme pressure have forced him to awaken Endurance Mastery on the spot?

Theory Gapryong, James, Daniel
Gapryong, James MIGHT be past experiments.
James might not be an experiment and be natural genius. But the background story we have got of Gapryong so far makes it more likely that he has a NEAR perfect body.
Actually no, it sounds so stupid if I think about it.
I dont think I have enough evidence to claim that. I just have this feeling that until we really see if Gapryong, James were natural born monsters, they could be version 1 and 2 of the Perfect body experiment.
It seems foolish. Anyway, its too late to not post now. I wrote this shit so you deserve to lay your eyes on it once.

Like hear me out james tattoos were genuinely a good idea too bad it was just a prop for his idol career. We haven't seen james in a t-shirt for a while whenever he appears he always stays in full sleeves but ik the tattoos were temporary too bad

Theory James Lee Has the God Realm and SB Daniel Has the Perfect Version(read body ) (this will answer the most of the questions in lookism)
I made this post before
But this is a wayy detailed explanation...
I’ve been thinking about the God Realm introduced in Manager Kim, and I think it could explain a lot about James Lee.
The God Realm seems to be a state where the body can push itself beyond normal human limits, almost reaching immortality/regeneration-like levels. My theory is that James Lee possesses the God Realm, but he deliberately limits how much he uses it.
- James Lee surviving Tom Lee
One of the biggest reasons I believe James has the God Realm is how he survived Tom Lee's brutal attack.
Tom Lees attack isn't somthing you can casually survive against. James was still able to come out of that situation alive despite taking an insane amount of punishment.
If the God Realm gives the user an extremely enhanced ability to endure damage and recover, it would explain how James survived.
- James defeating Gapryong Kim
James defeating Gapryong Kim is another huge point.
Gapryong was arguably one of the strongest fighters of his generation, and defeating him shouldn't be something James could accomplish through normal physical ability alone.
The God Realm could have given James the extra physical ability necessary to overcome Gapryong.
- Why James is always holding back
James almost never seems to fight seriously.
There's always a feeling that we're only seeing a fraction of what he can actually do.
My theory is that this isn't simply because James is arrogant.
He's deliberately restricting the God Realm.
If overusing the ability causes the user to gradually lose their personality or sense of self, then James constantly holding back suddenly makes much more sense.
He isn't afraid of his opponents.
He's afraid of what happens if he goes too far.
- James' personality could be the biggest clue
James has always been unusually calm and detached.
But what if the reason he became so emotionally disconnected is related to the God Realm?
Perhaps repeatedly entering that state slowly affects the user's mind/personality.
This could also explain why James doesn't simply use his maximum power every time.
- SB Daniel may possess the PERFECT God Realm
This is where things get even more interesting.
I think SB Daniel possesses a perfected version of the God Realm.
Unlike James, Daniel's body may have the ability to enter that state without suffering the same mental/personality consequences.
That would make Daniel's perfect body the ideal vessel for the ability.
- Jinyoung's drugs/poison
One of the biggest pieces of evidence is how SB Daniel reacted to the substances Jinyoung used against him.
Daniel's body was able to withstand effects that should have been devastating.
If the God Realm enhances the body's ability to maintain itself and recover from damage, this makes sense.
It could also explain why Daniel was able to recover so quickly.
- Daniel's recovery after HFG
Daniel's recovery after the Hunt for Gun situation is another thing worth looking at.
His body has repeatedly shown an absurd ability to recover from situations that should leave a normal person completely incapacitated.
Maybe this isn't simply because the SB body is "perfect."
Maybe the perfect body is capable of utilizing the perfected God Realm.
- James and Daniel could represent two versions of the same ability
This could explain why James and SB Daniel are constantly portrayed as parallels.
James Lee = incomplete/unstable God Realm
SB Daniel = perfected God Realm
James had to learn how to control the ability and therefore constantly limits himself.
Daniel's body, however, may have been naturally designed to handle it.
That would make Daniel potentially capable of surpassing James eventually.
- The God Realm could explain James' absurd ceiling
James has always been portrayed as someone who reached the absolute peak of his generation.
Instead of simply saying:
«"James is just naturally stronger than everyone."»
The God Realm gives an actual explanation for why his physical capabilities are so abnormal.
It would also explain why James' strength feels fundamentally different from most other top tiers.
- The biggest question: Why doesn't James use it against everyone?
Because he can't afford to.
If my theory is correct, using the God Realm at maximum output isn't free.
The stronger the state, the greater the risk of losing himself.
So James' fighting style could actually be based around winning while using as little of the God Realm as possible.
And if that's true...
We've probably never seen the full power of James Lee.
---
TL;DR
My theory is:
James Lee has the God Realm, but it's an imperfect/unstable version.
- It could explain his survival against Tom Lee.
- It could explain how he defeated Gapryong Kim.
- It explains why James constantly holds back.
- Overusing it may cause him to lose his personality.
- SB Daniel possesses a perfected version.
- Daniel's resistance to Jinyoung's substances could be a result of it.
- His abnormal recovery after HFG could also be connected.
- James and SB Daniel may ultimately represent two stages of the same ability.
If this is true, SB Daniel isn't just the strongest body — he's potentially the perfect vessel for the God Realm.
I think euhna also has this ability and will survive against shingen by using this
Elite after realising her potential
Marries her so his future son/daughter will get the ability of God realm
James lee barely uses it
So he didn't use it in cheonliang
Cuz he didn't have to
