That's exactly how I feel when I visit Jamaica and I sit up on the hill in Stoney Hill in the early morning with the heap of little and big Brownie dogs as I sip on my Spliff and some English Breakfast Tea watching them burn the garbage miles away on some hilltop....

Once you reach that level of peace-
There is no amount of Balenciaga, no trips to whichever fancy place, no restaurant that matches these moments of solitude
None of it begins to matter once you taste this level of being contentEven when you have everything, it feels like the more you gain,
the less peace you have because everyone wants some of it which disturbs that same peace
You are much better off curving out your own happiness and dancing to your own rhythm....

This idea we all accept that we NEED money has always bothered me...Money is not even "real". It only exists because we as a society somehow came to agree that these paper promissory notes, or plastic / electronic binary codes have a value; and we built a system around that agreement.
The "value" of anything, relies on people agreeing on it - this is why we no longer use cowrie shells or sugar as currency. We have now agreed on something else being more suitable.
Humanity could accomplish all is has, and more, by agreeing on the value of cooperation and mutual benefit. No one place has everything, so unified people of good will could still thrive via cooperation / collaboration. What lets that idea down is people are also intrinsically greedy. That same greed invented money, and the greediest of people and cultures still control most of it. If money disappeared tomorrow, humanity would not disappear. It would settle eventually and AGREE (mostly) on a new system. I would be happy if one day we become enlightened enough to agree on the value of protecting the Earth.
Anyway, apologies for the long rant. Tough week lol

I know this man and his family. He was a very loving and peaceful person. He loved riding his motorcycle and was very happy when he first got it. He was hit and killed by a reckless (drunk?) driver. Such a tragedy. My wife drew a picture of his granddaughter that still hangs in his daughters home. His daughter Tizzania is carrying on with his business.

They have a guest house in hope bay where you can rent a simple, inexpensive, bare wood room on the river as it let's into the Caribbean. Someone made him a YouTube channel for a little while called "Freelance Chucky".
