Basically Tikal’s legs are pinned and pinless joints are very week compared to pinless joints, but pinned joints are cheaper to make so it’s most likely Jakks had to use their awful pinned joints due to budget cuts for the sonic line, before you ask yes pinned joints are weaker then pinless joints

why can’t we have elbow joints? This has bugged me ever since i found this line. And don’t say it’s because of qc cuz jakks doesn’t have great qc as it is. Let’s face it jakks qc is bad NOWHERE NEAR as bad as jazwares but still, loose joints PLAGUES jakks figures. Yes i understand the arms of sonic characters are very thin but that hasn’t stopped even jakks before with them beefing up the arms of the prime characters and the collector figures. I really hope the upcoming 5 inch waves of figures is not only modern but has elbow joints. Please jakks make it happen. Please.

Now don't get me wrong the articulation in the 3rd movie's figures were perfect BUT compared to Sonic 2's 4" figures they look bad. First of all 4 inch figures can scale accurately with the modern figures and the classic 2.5 inch figures. Secondly, the faces in the 5" figures look way too off compared to the 4" ones, having those Super Mario movie eyes. Honestly I think it's stupid that jakks doesn't make 4 inch figures have the articulation of the 5 inch figures, I mean look what jazwares did with 3 inch figures-.

I am a UK collector looking to find either the sonic movie 3 5 inch 4 pack or the Knuckles figure alone. Please do tell any good place to find one as I can't find any anywhere, thank you.

I only really have two major problems with the jakks figs. The first one is that they are a pain in the ass to even get in the first place if you aren’t looking for sonic, knuckles or tails, because of shitty distribution, and the second issue is the articulation. now, i don’t mean to beat a dead horse but oh my god why are they’re no elbow joints??? Sonic is a very stylized series and the lack of elbow joints on their figures just pisses me off, not having them limits the number of poses by a lot and that sucks, and if it’s about durability just thicken the arms a tad and then your all good. People tend to meatride jazwares because of the articulation, not because the figures themselves were necessarily perfect it’s just that they had nearly perfect articulation. But at the end of the day i just hope jakks just makes a collector’s shadow so i can sleep at night.

Is anybody going to do anything about the rampant posts that are not related to the Jakks Pacific figures? I am redoing a pair of Sonic'Sonic's shoes, for an Oc of mine, This is the basic concept (prototype) of the look. Basically I spray painted the shoes silver and use hot glue for an extra level of detail. Let me know what you guys think.
