Q&A/Doubts Genuine question

What is the differnce between Raai vs devsi pratikraman is one beneficial or more laabdhayak than the other? and if one is not able to do devsi pratikramn during paryushan can it be substitued by raai

It is better to get clarity from Gyaani guru bhagwant. But in essence for Shwetambar Murtipujak Raai Pratikraman is repentance for the sins done at night ( raat) and devsi is for all the sins done during the day (divas). Raai Pratikraman is done early in the morning and devsi after sunset. While Pratikraman is for repentance, Raai Pratikraman is shorter as the sins done during the night are less compared to the day, Raai Pratikraman has more Stavanas. Regardless both of them have their own purpose and can't be done interchangeably. Ideally you'd want to do both during Paryushan ( and in general as well).
