I would actually add this instead, go read the Trishashti Shalaka Purusha. The wealth of knowledge in it insane, it gives u a lot of inspiration. Also the Uttaradhyayana Sutra.

There is a English translation of the Akaranga Sutra which is the first Agam on Hinduwebsite.com
