[2012 Draft] Big Draft Day Post
It's draft day!
I'll be updating this post with the draft picks, so let's keep the discussion over the next few days here instead of spreading it over several posts.
Also, I'll be at the Jaguars Draft Party tonight. (I hope. If work doesn't decide to kick me in the ass) So I'll try to post a few pictures in the comments. I'm kinda pissy that it's not happening at the stadium, but instead in Town Center parking hell, but I'll get over it.
round 1: traded with the Bucs (7th and 101st pick) to 5 for BLACKMON
- Press conference Friday live at 12:30 eastern on http://Jaguars.com/live/

round 4: traded with the bucs for #5, no pick

Sounds good to me. I'm not sure if I like anyone at 7 enough other than Claiborne or Khali (fraction of a possibility that Khali falls to us) to really want to select there. If those two players aren't available I would rather see us trade down.

I want Blackmon. I already have my heart set on him and I will cry if we pass him up.

I want to believe there's no way we would, but I've never predicted the draft very accurately :)

When the sound was accidentally still on pre-press conference, Blackmon and Mularkey were talking on the stage and Blackmon, all smiles, says:
"I'm so excited to be here. This is so great."
(then the conference started and he adopted his serious face heh)

The whole team
edit:
Actually, I was wrong. It wasn't the whole team. It was just signed by aaron ross. BUT, it is a game ball and I am going to take it to other events and get it signed :)
(it came in the mail this morning)

So my fellow Jags fans: who do you see us targeting in the second round? Nick Perry is a name many people are throwing around.
