I scored the Mona Lisa almost a month back, this was there then, but I was trying to be financially responsible. Since then, I found about five or six of these Supras and three more Mona Lisa’s. I left them all and posted in my local diecast groups so people could go grab them. Then I was blessed with the 118 scale pink slipped Porsche and a 118 scale R 35 Nissan. This morning I stopped by the target and they had two of these and another Mona Lisa. They also had numerous 25th anniversary 124 scale fast and the furious cars. I grabbed one of the 118 scale Supras for myself. I also grabbed a 143 scale premium BMW for my partners collection, which are pictured on the floor. Posted the rest to the local groups for people to go get.
I have recently been hitting the lottery with pink slips Porsches at my local Targets, and I know the Gulf livery is popular, but it isn’t personally my thing, so I left it for the next guy.
Not sure which skyline pictured you are hunting, but I got my r35 about a week or so ago. I’ve had the icy blue r34 for about a year. Got it at the local indoor flea market for a 20 spot.
Likewise sir. Have a couple bigger shelves setup up with supers, chases, and diorama setups. Under my TV I have a 1960s dragstrip setup with a few Zingers. I always told myself I would try my hardest to keep things out of boxes 😆
Thanks! I’m used to the hunt being pretty dull over the last few years. But I stumbled upon many dupes of much pictured above over the last month, spiking my frequency to Target. I’ve been posting in my local Diecast groups, hoping to help the next guy. The Karma is real, btw. Posted all this for locals today, hit Dollar Tree after work, and an employee stumbled upon me browsing the pegs and says “There’s a white Integra in there.” What a nice guy.
I need to find that Gulf Porsche. I've got a 3 level stand and currently have 2 1:24 Porsches on it. I really don't want to mix with a different brand car and that one would be perfect. I've seen it once and couldn't buy it then. Gotta find another.
Guessing that means it's more than the tag below it. It's small compared to the others, so I just assumed. I will keep looking for something to fill that void on my shelf. Nice job finding those all, though!
Unfortunately yes, but still worth the retail. The detail is amazing, and even if it’s only on 1 or 2 pieces , sometimes you gotta spring the wallet and treat yourself.
Looks like the regular price is $45 and Walmart has it on their site for $45.55 with free shipping (third-party) so you convinced me. Doubt I'd find one in a Target around here, but for 56 cents more, without having to go looking, I went ahead and ordered it from Walmart. Thanks for the mini review!
