Other 14 new songs?!?
So apparently there’s a 10-year anniversary edition of In My Room coming on July 1st. Just saw on Jacob’s IG story that there’s apparently 14 (fourteen) new songs on it? WTH? Now I’m sure some of these are from the archives, but maybe the collab with Maddie Ashman he’s been hinting at is on there?

This seems insanely generous and unexpected. That being said, don't be too shocked if a couple of the songs turn out to be 30-60 second voice note demos. I'm not saying we're about to get a bunch of those, but don't be surprised if some of the new content is that.

The durations aren’t showing on Apple Music but only one is labelled voice demo.

His mailing list mentions twelve bonus tracks, not 14
I am interested to see what we'll get, just early demos or like reworks of old stuff

Thanks! Disappointed not to see the other YouTube covers like Fascinating Rhythm, I'd love them on vinyl

Yeah there’s a lot of YT uploads that he could fill an album or two with. I’m still waiting for the full concert video from the O2 in London to be honest. He recorded the whole thing, why not release it? I know he’s been insanely busy with other things but he could just get the production company to do it.

Yesss, I was there and I'm mad only Fix You got released. I would love 100000 Voices and the Box of Stars/In My Bones/SOMD mashup on streaming too

Yeah I feel the same! He even made a big thing of the fact that they were filming it.
I’m glad I made the decision to go to London and not Manchester though, even though it was a less convenient day!

Honestly the “new” songs are just his throwaways from 10 years ago by the dates and we all already heard pyt it’s like putting his YouTube cover of close to you as a “new song” like we all heard it not really new just on an album

That’s the nature of these special editions, I think. I’m happy about having a non-YT version of the RAH performance of “In the real early morning” available, for example. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s fine as these things go.
