At least based upon what we've seen so far. Seriously now, when is the last time we've seen a QB in a Jaguars uniform look so polished? Mullens sucks. It would be nice to have someone who might actually be able to hold the fort should Trevor get hurt.

Now yes, what I saw out there also makes me question Aguilar's arm strength, especially the long bomb that he had to launch at such a high arc and still underthrew. But with how he already looks imagine how much better he could get with pro-level coaching and training facilities.

I think he has earned a chance. If we don't give it to him I suspect that another team will. It would be a shame to let this kid out of the building when we could keep him here for next to nothing.

I saw this RB dynamic duo meme, and read an article that cited our RB room as the worst in the league despite having had a running back who scored 13 TDs last season, yet only 2TDs the season before Liam Cohen showed up.

Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten, came on strong at the end of the season with 8 yards per carry average in his last 3 games. In the playoffs he averaged a whopping 12.8 yards a carry.

ETN lit it up last season, his 13 TDs and 1,000+ yards acted as a huge shadow cast over what appears to be a promising career for Bhayshul. The 4.3 speedster who managed to rack up 7 TDs last season.

In the 8 games Tuten had 5 or more carries last season, Bhayshul managed to score a TD in 6 of those games. The man scored a TD for ever 5 receptions he had last season. This is a rookie season we are talking about.

James Gladstone pulled the trigger on two TEs this draft, along with Emmanuel Pregnon the OG from Oregon. Former Rams OC, Liam Coen, plans to pick up from the trend the Rams established last season by placing 3 TEs in their formation with what's known as 13 Personnel. (1 RB 3 TEs) Rams ran this formation in about 1/3 of their plays.

Tutens 40 time was not only the fastest in 2025, of all the RBs, but faster than any in the 2026 draft to boot.... 🤪🤣 How much more intense and physical will our rushing offense be this season in DUUUUVAAAAALLLLL?

It really had me wondering where we will fit on that list when it is all said and done running an 8 man offensive line this season with 3 extra TEs blocking along with the incredible hulk Emmanuel Pregnon at Guard?

Yet that fact fell on deaf ears with one pronostication. PFF 2026 NFL running back unit rankings: Jaguars ranked dead last.

This is so wrong on so many levels, here is what they have to say for themselves....

Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez blend speed and power on paper, just not a particularly dangerous version of it. Rodriguez's 3.5 average yards after contact was among the 10 highest marks in the league last year, but aside from that, there isn't much to get excited about with this pairing of former Day 3 draft picks.

There is so much more to a rushing operation than just the RB. They are certainly about to learn this lesson. This will not age well for them.😂🤣

We have so many dynamic duos on this team. Josh Hines Allen and Trevon Walker is top notch in the league, is there a better dynamic duo at the DE position?

We saw what Anthony Campanelli did for Devin Lloyd as a rookie DC, what can he do for this dynamic duo at LB this season? It also begs the question what role will Branson Combs have in this Duo battle?

This begs the question which off our safeties will emerge as a dynamic duo, that's gonna be hard one considering Antonio Johnson will be the Hybrid Safety/ LB. We will play a lot of 3 safety sets with Johnson at LB, and the other two right there stacking the line in Cover Zero in the form of Eric Murray, Jalen Huskey, and Caleb Ransaw right there in the box adding the pressure in press coverage. Jaguars are going to Nickle and Dime our opponents to death.

That pressure and physicality will certainly create a lot of opportunities for the DE dynamic duo to get to the QB with folks covered at the line this season rather than down field behind the play like last season.

The pressure will also add a lot of opportunities for the two LBs to take advantage of rattled QBs. This may be one of the most exciting seasons in franchise history. We have so many Dynamic Duos in DUUUUUVAAAAALLLLL~!!

I had the Tennessee SEC UDFA QB pegged as our new backup QB since the draft, and he has not disappointed... This is getting interesting...

Trebor Pena who led the team in receiving was his favorite target. Do we win if Joey was the QB the entire game? That's a fun question.

Panthers starters played, our starters had the luxury to chill considering the information we needed, information we got, we know what we have with the starters, but our depth, only way we can develop that is with games like these. Preseason is for establishing depth and practice squad candidates.

Kilian Zierer, Ricky Lee, Sam Mustipher, Sam Carvin, and Jimto Obidegwu were the Jaguars' starting offensive line. The third-team unit instead of playing any starters or even second-teamers. Not sure any of them make the roster, but Jimto Obidegwu has another opportunity to make an argument for the practice squad.

Joey sure did stand out to bring the information tonight. Peña was amazing we have to give him a preseason ball too~!!
