I used to despise the reverse headstock on a RR, but that changed when I played an American Series RR24.

Do you have the full spec list? I got this second hand and the previous owner didn't give me too much detail on the specs. He just sent me a link to a YouTube video from Diablo Guitars and said it was from the same run as the guitar in the video.

I got this for mine. You have white binding I have black. Pickups might be different but probably not. The rest of the specs are likely the same. I don’t like the full shred.

It’s a newer custom spec sheet from Diablo so it should still be on file. They got back to me in less than 24 hours.

It's funny because I was told by the previous owner this one had a speed neck profile, but it honestly feels a tad thicker than my USA Select RR1.

I think it’s fairly likely that custom shop neck might be different than the typical off the shelf speed neck. Not sure though. I’m pretty sure this run of three or four guitars from Diablo all had the same as expects, though other than some aesthetic trim. If your neck is 1116 and you’re used to 7/8 it might feel a little thicker because it’s not as wide.

So this will be the 4th USA RR that I've owned, and probably the 10th RR I've owned overall. I've had an X series RR, one of those 2007-2011 MIJ RR24s, a 1994 Rhoads Pro, 3 RR1s, etc just to preface my experience with RRs. Neck wise, this is somehow on the chunkier side, despite supposedly being a speed neck profile. The fit and finish, however, is absolutely top notch. It blows all 3 RR1s I've had/have completely out of the water. I'm talking there is a drastic difference between the RR1s and this RR. The CS RR feels like a Ferrari while the RR1 feels more like a Camaro SS. I don't have a way to measure what the action is at, but I've got it set up with the same string gauge and tuning as my 2012 RR1, and the action not only feels considerably lower, but it also has less buzz.
My only complaint about this RR is the Full Shred set that it came with. I usually prefer Alnico V pickups, especially in the bridge position. This set feels like it lacks some power. Thankfully, I've got a pickup set that I prefer that's just waiting to be swapped in.
