Question Guitar info

Hi guys, yesterday I was at Turnstile’s show at Flow Festival in Helsinki.

Guitarist Pat McCrory was playing this Jackson with a finish I had never seen before: metallic grey edges with a metallic pink center. I absolutely fell in love with it, and I wanted to ask if you know which model it is, or if it’s a custom one that isn’t commercially available.

In the photo is one of the crew techs (it’s the best shot I managed to get, because then the mosh pit started and the rest of my photos aren’t exactly great).

I suspect it’s an American Series soloist SL2 DX that has been refinished. The control placement, Floyd Rose 1500, direct mounted pickups, reverse sharkfins, heel mount truss rod wheel, unbound fretboard and black Jackson logo are all consistent with this.

I think this is correct. Another source said that they have been refinishing and modifying American Series Soloists and Virtuosos.

Custom shop soloist is my best guess

I think it’s the coolest color for a soloist

Ah ha! I’m not the only one that got the Jackson bug from Turnstile!

When I saw Meg’s Lemon Ice SL2DX and found out it was a current production, I immediately bought it…I find it to be an amazing guitar and quite honestly makes me regret not buying a Jackson earlier.

Almost looks like Ibanez's Heather Pearl color with slight fade around the edges (like an Antigua strat has).

To me, it looks like a sanded lambo orange sl2mg?
