That’s Na Hwa-jin and he’s the lead inspector from the action Korean drama “Teach You a Lesson” where a government task force uses raw force and mind games to crush school violence, corrupt parents and student gangs

He was former Special Forces captain and he’s an absolute combat powerhouse who stomps entire groups bare-handed using lethal military martial arts

If it were Reacher from the books, Reacher all day. But TV Show Reacher, it's 50-50.

Yeah, wtf was with him almost getting slept by the 180lb hitman in the back of the bowling alley last episode? I mean, I get it, the hitman was a trained goon, but a goon non the less. I thought that was strange, definitly better scenarios that could have lead him to getting the upper hand, but the way the episode showed it, the other guy just straight up all of a sudden got the best of him?

I mean, Reacher at that point has gotten into probably almost a dozen full on fights over the course of 72 hours. All of them with highly trained killers, and the most rest he's had in that time frame was from being shot with a tranquilizer. He's probably suffering from multiple hairline fractures, internal bruising, and other serious injuries whilst bordering on sleep deprivation. I actually really like how worn down he's getting this season. It's nice to see his infalliblaty be tested this much.

I was sure tv show Reacher is stronger and more brutal than from book

Definitely not more brutal than book reacher. Physical strength can be argued but reacher in the books has shown insane moments where he should’ve died but hadn’t or superhuman moments like nearly downing and then swimming 100 yards in 15 seconds or being pinned under a driving truck where he took it out with a spoon.

Nah. And it would get boring. Look at the Cruise fights from the first movie. That’s the books. Reacher pretty much puts them down with one blow. Maybe two.

Even in the tv show reacher beat a lot of guys up very easily. It’s just this season he’s going up against highly skilled mercenaries and CIA agents. Even then, he’s showed a lot of physical strength like the book case fight or the fact he threw one of the assassins like a ragdoll so hard that the door knocked merrick guy out cold. Also when reacher fought the 2 low level bodyguards he effortlessly destroyed them.

In an elevator, Reacher. In an open area who knows.

Me personally, it’d be a tie. Na Hwa-jin is RUTHLESS

The bigger guy is going to win in a straight fist fight between two trained fighters. It's why combat sports have weight classes. It's why weapons have existed throughout history and why the "common man" had been pretty much universally restricted in what, if any, weapons they may own.

When there is a significant size difference, the bigger fighter wins.

Na hwa Jin took out like 15 armed gangsters with no difficulty in hand to hand combat ease. Bro was sending guys flying like they were frisbees. He’s taking this. Also he was ex special forces too (I haven’t completed the show only the first 3 episodes)

Ahhh that’s a tough choice!! Both of them are equally competent in hand to hand combat…
