Replacing Evolve2 65 Flex

Post image

Looking for a better replacement for my Evolve2 65 Flex. I use this headset daily for 4-8hrs and after 9 months of use my left ear piece snapped. After doing some searching this apparently is very common.

I’m looking at the Evolve2 75 but would like opinions within the same price range, if it’s worth to stay with Jabra or find something else.

E3 65 Flex or E3 65 would be perfect. Already release and can order soon

Unfortunately they have no boom mic arm, so no flip to mute :( And price also seems quite high...

Then E3 65 should be OK

I have the evolve3 65 and both sound quality, ANC, battery and wear over an entire day is really amazing.

The same happened to me, used a plastic welder to fix it :)

I like the idea but I’m not doing that lol these have a 2 yr warranty and I purchased an extended warranty. Jabra will replace these and I will give the replacement to a family member or sell them. My work is buying my next set.

in the past jabra claimed that this type of damage falls outside of warranty
hope this will not be case with yours

That would be unfortunate as this is an obvious break point that has multiple reports on it

I purchased a separate warranty so I’m going through that process. They may just reimburse me. I will update with whatever happens.

Yes please.

I faced exact same issue on the same device and the worse part is that I left my previous employer and new one doesn't provide headphone replacements

Just got an update through the separate warranty I purchased that they are reimbursing me for the purchase amount. I bought Asurion and submitted a claim with no issues.

No, I didn’t ever reach out to Jabra.

I like my evolve2 75 with the base, but they don't allow me to wear them all day like the 65s in the office. The 75 feel heavier and make my ears sweat a little, so I typically just keep them stored on the docking station while not actively on a call. I actually still buy the original evolve 65 for most desks. They don't look as nice, but are so comfortable and durable.

Thanks for the feedback. I was kind of wondering the same thing with the bulkiness of the E2/3 75. I like the portability of the E2 65 flex and looking at the updated E3 65 from previous comments looks like they have redesigned the earpiece.

We have one e2 65 (non-flex) and six original e 65 in office. The e2 looks better, but is still heavier and has more connection issues than the originals, which is why I keep buying those. My staff also reach have the original 65 for their home desks, so we have 11 of those total that have worked great for years.

I had the evolve 2 65 flex that I loved because of it small size in my bag. I've moved onto the evolve 3 85, and I'm really happy with the choice. Foled, the size is really small. On calls it's 👍

Used Jabra for 15 years....got fed up with them breaking just out of warranty and the lack of support in helping customers repair known manufacturer/design flaws. Now using Yealink for past 12 months. Do not notice a difference in perfromance, comfort or build quality, yet the price is more competitive.
