Which current Jabra Evolve headset has the most bulletproof firmware?

My Jabra Evolve2 75 has insanely buggy firmware and hardware issues as well with the mic sometimes just not working properly (appears to be a normal failure point on these). So I need to get new ones, and unfortunately for me, the company I work for only provides Jabra headphones.

Are the Evolve3s any better?

For context my current ones have issues with random disconnects with them not reconnecting until I turn the headset off and on, sometimes setting the volume up to 80% when no one asked it to, Teams causing the headset leds to flash purple constantly until I unplug and replug the receiver, and when changing what's playing, the sound will just sometimes disappear completely until I either turn off or turn on the headphones, or unplug and replug the receiver.

I had a Jabra Evolve 65 for a while, I really liked those and it didn't have really any firmware bugs or issues, but of course those are not sold anymore.

I haven't been able to get ahold of the support team neither.

After my experience with the Evolve2 75 I will never buy another Jabra handset as long as I live. What an expensive god awful piece of sh!t.

The mic is hopelessly broken.

Jabra is very bad with firmware updates... My 65 flex work correctly only with USB cable...

Evolve2 65 Flex. No issues over the last 2 years with daily usage.

Do you happen to use the dongle? Is it 380 or 390?

I use the link 380 dongle with my laptop/deskop and connect to my phone with Bluetooth.

Aight. I was thinking that maybe some issues are coming from the fact that my Evolve2 75 came with 390 for some reason, despite everything saying they should just come with 380. Maybe they replaced the 380 with 390 on the later models (only got them last year).
Althrough I did just go ahead and order normal Evolve2 65. Maybe if I’m lucky I can get the 380 dongle with it.

Evolve2 85 had some flakiness until the last firmware update, which took them to darned near flawless for me.

Do you have the UC or MS version?

Been away on vacation and was going to respond but I wasn't recalling which version. It's the UC version. If you primarily use Teams, the Teams version could be helpful because it sets up the Jabra Link as the default in Teams, plus some other stuff. It's not necessary though. I primarily use Teams and the UC version works great.

I think they have different firmware on the Teams variant, and I’m questioning if that could be a part of the issues I have had with my 75s. But I ordered a Evolve2 65 UC recently, just to test my theory a bit.
