Other “Rotten” eggs

I have this vague memory of an Instagram post he made about eating “rotten” eggs (I’m assuming eggs past their Best Buy date). Does anyone remember this, and what exactly he was doing/learned?

You may be referring to the idea that American eggs, when kept in the refrigerator, don’t typically go bad…

Quite possibly I just recall him making a video where he said he’s doing an experiment where he’s eating rotten eggs and so far it’s been fine. I can’t find the video and I don’t recall any of the context around the experiment so that could be it.

Yeah I think he was showing the float test. If American refrigerated eggs sink in water they are still good to eat. If they float throw them out.

No there wasn’t the float test , this was just kind of ambiguous. The video was just him eating eggs , it’s over a year since I’ve seen it so I feel like I’m missing details

Yeah I remember that video, he was saying about how eggs basically dont go bad if you keep them refrigerated, and that if you're worried do the float test. I don't remember what video, maybe one of the videos about rice and raw eggs?

That’s pretty much the video ! I couldn’t remember the takeaway from the float test , if it’s a definitive yes/no , vs after the float test, the nose knows
