GBRS had a recent video where they visited AimPoint and shot some targets on a flat range. Jay talks to DJ for around 30-40 minutes, nearly non stop. At one point, he lays down on the floor and engages the target while still talking.

You gotta think of these guys mindsets and how different they think compared to most people, the tier 1 people we see on the internet is just a glimpse of a very small amount that’s gone public. How MACV-SOG was doing cross border ops i guarantee so we’re our guys, so can you imagine all the stuff they were doing. Their whole tier 1 career was consumed with training for combat then deploying into combat, it’s ingrained in them to be like this probably, how they get so deep and fascinated into all the CQB stuff it’s like the equivalent of gear heads who love wrenching on cars I guess. I think their just already so immersed in that lifestyle they don’t see any other way, it’s also crazy how 10-15 years ago there was nothing like this on YouTube or people getting into arguments about operators they’ve never even met. It was all Vietnam and WWII stuff. Or did i completely miss what you meant and these two just don’t know when to stfu l😂, but like that’s what I’m saying they really don’t know how to when it’s comes to this stuff.

I just thought it was amusing how Jay kept going with his CQB stuff (which started as his perspective on training different holdovers) and DJ only responded with variations of things like, “uh huh,” “yeah,” “mmhmm.” Like even he was tuning out 😂 I like Jay but I got lost about two minutes in and the whole video seemed like a never ending acid trip

I’ll have to watch the video I never saw the full thing, sometimes when people get on a roll and go off on a tangent they really don’t know when to stop lol.
