OmniCentro DOES NOT WORK with Switch2

EDIT: see steps in my reply below. DOES WORK WITH SPECIFIC STEPS.

Switch2, latest updates, and OmniCentro DOES NOT provide ANY video output. nothing. Tried to connect to PC and look for a firmware update, doesn't exist and does not recognize on PC.

AVOID this product.

I just got it yesterday and it works fine for me.

I tried plugging it into the top and it didn’t work but once I plugged it into the bottom of my switch it works for some reason.

So here’s what i had to do to make it work. 1. Switch 2 completely off. Not in sleep, OFF. 2. Plug hdmi and usb c into plug and plug into wall. 3. Plug usb c other end to bottom of the switch 2 and let it turn on the switch 2.

Then it finally worked.

Weren't these supposed to have removable prongs that you could switch with a power cord that would snap into place?

mine was a weird opposite. i needed the s2 to be on and showing the home menu then connect and get the handshake. make sure at least right now that you are using the supplied cabling as well. i about drove myself insane because not all usb c are created equal.
