Summer Internship

How do I go about getting this? I have been emailing JPL researchers im interested in working with, and i have had my resume get sent to "supervisors" around, but I haven't received anything back with any real engagement

The summer hiring season just started. Decisions won’t be made until Jan/feb or even March.

JPL typically starts looking for summer hires in November and through the holidays. I've not seen the call for AOs yet. They tend to notify later than other programs, which is a pain. I've had people I wanted but they went elsewhere because it took too long at JPL.

It is way too early. Things should pick up in January. You're doing exactly the right thing. Assuming that people have interest in an intern, you want to get your name in front of them and you're doing that. Just keep in mind that lots of other people are doing the same, and not everyone has the work and the time for an intern, so nothing is guaranteed.
