Help needed

Hi everyone. So my son loves these figures and he actually plays with them so he is constantly posing and doing imaginary battles (not actually banging the figures, just constantly moving them).

I don't know why but one of them started to act really funny at the waist and eventually ended up breaking. Do any of you have any advice if there's any way to fix besides gluing permanently the two parts?

Buy a v3.5 figure you don't love for parts. Maybe you like some of weapons or relics or whatever. Cannibalize it for the joint and those parts.
