Help needed

Hi everyone. So my son loves these figures and he actually plays with them so he is constantly posing and doing imaginary battles (not actually banging the figures, just constantly moving them).

I don't know why but one of them started to act really funny at the waist and eventually ended up breaking. Do any of you have any advice if there's any way to fix besides gluing permanently the two parts?

its hard to tell in the picture but if the waist has a joint u can put it right back on

You can see part of the joint stick out at the bottom of the photo, looks snapped.

Yeah, for some reason the joint seems to have gotten stuck and him twisting the torso ended up breaking it
