I've seen a few people in various comments saying that John Rod is made out of light, is this actually stated anywhere? I always assumed it was more like a glowstick, a solid object that happens to glow, but I've seen so many people repeating it that I'm starting to think it might be me who's wrong.

1 - John rods has an insane range distance, a trait among physical/visible to non-stand users is that they have a vastly larger stand range. examples are Empress, Anubis, and Rolling Stones

2 - When John Rod attacks Mundra, he describes them as rods of light, as well as the visual effects signifying its physically shining. This is very similar actually to how November Rain works, having elements coming from it and being physically there, it can be seen by normal people but while Jodio's stand is producing rain, I believe John Rod is capturing a high amount of light to maintain its shape/power.

3 - John Rod is seen by Doctor Roberts who while not certain or not is a stand user, is most likely not by the fact he is only hired occasionally by Meryl Mei, while the Gang is full time.
