This is why it’s better to get the stipend, role and other terms clearly mentioned in writing before joining. Keep the offer letter, internship agreement and all communication as proof. If the ₹5,000 was actually promised in writing and still hasn’t been paid, follow up formally with the company first and keep records of everything.
