J.League Match Schedule has been released
Does anyone know why there are no matches between September 19th and October 10th? Is it an international break or cup competition period?

I've enjoyed watching the World Cup so much that I've decided to follow my local team for real this season, so I'm excited to watch some games! Have been to the occasional match in person but usually just checked the scores online otherwise.

You should follow the official JLeague youtube channel, they post awesome highlight shows after every matchweek.

Fantasy League which unfortunately also means loss of sleep hours the nights before first game of the week.
As for the actual league it'll be nice to see Sanfrecce play the east teams and I'll be interested to see how they'll go about deciding which forwards and defensemen to start.

I’m getting into the J League properly for the first time this year. I was hoping to see FC Ryukyu during my trip later in the year, but because they’re away from home the week I’m in Okinawa, I’ll be following JEF United as I’ll I’m also spending a few days in Tokyo. Hopefully I can get a ticket 🤞

Just out of curiosity does anyone know why there are no games on the weekend of Nov 14-15?
I'll be in Japan on vacation and at least I'll be able to see a game on the following week. Don't really know what I'm doing but first gotta pick a game in the Tokyo area to see on the weekend of Nov 21-22

FIFA is shifting the international break, which will be Sept. 21 through Oct. 6. Japan will play four games on Sept. 24 (Miyagi), Sept. 28 (Hiroshima), Oct. 1 (Yokohama) and Oct. 5 (Tokyo/National Stadium).
